Texas Court Records Search - Online
The PACER system provides access to all bankruptcy cases online 24
hours a day, 7 days a week. Access may be acquired via internet, or by
direct dial up account, but does however require payment of a nominal
fee. The amount of information available online quickly becomes
overwhelming, because all cases filed throughout the state are
available.

The Clerk of the Court is the official custodian of records for
documents and schedules filed in connection with all bankruptcy cases.
Today, most documents are filed electronically, and may be viewed using
public access computers maintained by the Clerk of the Court.
Additionally, a Texas court records search, free of charge, is available
by telephone for one or a small number of cases.
The Secretary of State for the State of Texas provides corporate information via telephone. This information includes the name, address and contact information for the corporate representative, as well as the date of original incorporation and whether the entity remains active. All bankruptcy cases require a list of creditors, and if the address included within the list of creditors is incorrect, and notice of filing is not delivered, subsequent actions taken by the Bankruptcy Court are ineffective against that creditor. Failure to provide notice is one of the damaging and easily preventable errors made by debtors.
